Kam Stivens has been playing guitar since the age of 7. Whilst many genres of music come and go, Kam has most likely played them all. From jazz to metal, rock to blues, fusion to bluegrass and many more.

Playing such venues as The Corner Hotel, Star Bar, The Espy, Revolver, The Evelyn, The Laundry, Hallam Hotel and many more. Kam has played in numerous bands over the years such as Forgotten Vacancy (Covers), Phantom Alice and other smaller bands. He has also been used as a session guitarist for solo performers such as Andy Lovelee (UK) and Aimee Francis (AUS). Now also a member of Mercury White, all three members of Mimik may just play an original tune if asked... Kam's passion is music and he also teaches guitar in his spare time, as well as session work.

Picking up the sticks at the age of 7, Kevin threw together a beat that would shape his life forever. With lessons on and off for over 10 years, Kevin learnt the fundamentals of playing a groove and holding the band together in which he used to put together his bands throughout high school and beyond. Being pulled in and out of gigs for session work, Kevin focused on his cover band skills and technique on drawing a crowd. He still continues to this day on helping out bands where ever he can.
After extensive playing in and out of friends bands, he settled with Mercury White in 2009 with his long time jam mate, Coops. Also jumping in on the 'Gravity Says' Tour in 2010, his live performance techniques florished and still has a love for performing. His latest accomplishment is the Mercury White album launch in 2013 in which he saw Revolver on Chapel Street packed for a funfilled night of original tunes.
With a love for 'real' music, Kevin's been longing for a chance to make it with a cover band and Mimik gave him that opportunity.
With the versatility that Kev's developed over the years of playing, he can cater to every need of performing on drums, wether its to a full house nightclub, or a Sunday arvo session, Kev's got it covered.
